Sometimes at work, just watching the people around you is funny, the way they do things, the reactions to certain situations. This morning was funny. A last minute meeting was called and our Boss wanted someone to take minutes, luckily myself and a friend are just about to go out and play football (phew!) but that still left 4 people available.
All morning people have been walking out looking for jobs to do just to keep them away from the boss! Eventually one of them was caught and now the poor sod is stuck in a really boring meeting taking notes!
I’ve nver played chess, but it really felt like a game today!
I though upgrading Wordpress up to 2.1 would be a great idea, but it wasn’t! For some reason I became unable to post pages, which is quite important as I use them for the whole site! So I have spent today downgrading to 2.0.9 and the problem has been fixed, I don’t think this version will be changing any time soon :).
The first part of the site back on track is the xBox 360 section full of all the information you could need to do with the 360, I will get more on later in the week.
Yesterday wasn’t to be for the Gunners, the youngsters did us proud, and Theo got a cracking first goal but Chelsea rode their luck and got a win late on, Super Cesc gave Frank Lampard a good going over in the melee and Diaby made sure that Terry didn’t miss out either!
They did all the Arsenal Fans proud and hopefully they can go on another good run next year, we need to concentrate on the Blackburn game on Wednesday now and the senior lads need to pull their socks up for that one!
I picked up my copy of crackdown this morning, 40 quid from Argos which is pretty cool, it comes with the H3 Beta so that will be fun some time in the future. Now I just have to get work out of the way!
Also announced today was the release of some more platinum games for the 360, being released in the middle of this month will be:
- Call of Duty 2 (Activision)
- Dead or Alive 4 (TECMO)
- Project Gotham Racing 3 (Microsoft Game Studios)
- Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis (Rockstar Games)
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft)
- Lara Kroft Tomb Raider: Legend (Eidos Interactive Ltd.)
Tomb Raider will probably be the best game out of that lot, though you could twist my arm for COD 2. Anway on I go with operation gamerscore, nearly at 8000!
When I was given the xBox 360 for Christmas Amanda was pleased that I had it but she wasn’t intrested by it, until she started to Play the XBLA game Hexic HD, she got me lots of gamerscore which was great and then she didn’t really bother again.
A few months later I convinced her to get a gamertag herself and she did, now look at her score! I am writing this as she is playing another arcade game. A loves Hexic, Zuma, Astropop, Root Beer Tapper, PaperBoy and the newly aquired Jewel Quest. She even has points for Gears of War (but thats because her brother plays co-op with me on her tag!)
I am trying to convince her now to Gamerchix the xBox program for women to get online and play games witout us blokes being… blokes! It seem like a really good idea and well worth it if you fancy it.
This is another string to Microsoft’s bow though, they have plenty of new arcade games coming out which I am sure A will pick up instantly, but what does the PS3 have?
Anyway it’s a weekend of G.R.A.W and GoW for me need to stop being killed every two seconds!!

What is it with snow? As soon as it turns up, the country falls apart! I’m the only one who made it in (which is terrible) so I thought I would do an update on the old blog.
I played football for the Compnay yesterday and it ended 7-1 to them 
We were awful and this morning I just can’t feel my leg, I am definitely cut out for 5-a-side only! At least we have hit rock bottom so we can only get better (hopefully).
I have been meaning to update Photo 356 ‘07 and I intend to add all the Photos I have taken as soon as I can, you can blame playing the crackdwon demo! Anyway, back to work!
Now these guys are a lot braver (and fitter) than me.
On the 12th May Gavin Dunn, Peter Thompson and David Staiano are going on quite a journey:
We will start on the young river Thames just outside Lechlade, in the Cotswolds and row a very heavy Victorian skiff for seven days travelling 130 miles down the river to the capital. We will pass the towns and cities of Oxford, Wallingford, Reading, Henley and Marlow before finishing in West London - totally exhausted and in need of a drink! Sweat, blood, blisters and heated debate will have to be endured on this epic journey both day and night.
We are taking on this feat of endurance to raise money for Macmillan Nurses. Each of us have lost a parent to cancer and would therefore encourage you to make a donation to the charity, the support they give is vital to both patient and family.

Before I had lost my January Blog posts, I had written about the Crackdown demo that was released a couple of weeks ago. Its a great demo but I had only played the single player, over the past couple of days there have been some great videos popping up showing the best explosions and how to get some of the achievements…
