Lego Star Wars - The Complete Saga

I played the orignal demo and knew this game would be great for A and I to play, and so when I heard this was coming out, it was a no-brainer!

Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock

Need I say more on this game, I could get Rock Band which I have heard is Brilliant but I just don’t have the room for all that kit!! I keep playing the demo and having so much fun, and that’s just on the original controller!!

Madden 08

Over the past few months I have been reallt getting in to the American Football, I have spent many a lunch hour over at my local Virgin Megastore playing this game, so it would only make sense to get it, I might even manage to make the Dolphons win!

Mario vs Sonic

This game would involve me actually owning a Wii but I reckon this game would be worth it. This would keep me very active as well, its basically a modern version of Daley Thompson’s Decathlon from the 80’s.

Mario Galaxy

Another Wii game that will keep all sorts of gamers entertained, Join Mario as he explores the farthest regions of space and faces off against a new legion of foes.

The Orange Box

3 games in 1, so great value for a start and there are actually 3 good games, a Demo for HL2 is out on xBox live now so you will get a chance to try it and see what you think.

That’s the first set of games that I want to get my hands on, I will post the second part later on in the week…

We have both been back at work now for three days and are both in need of another Holiday! Seriously though we are both pretty tired at the moment, but its nice to know we don’t have anything in particular to organise.

We finally got all of our gifts unpacked and opened up, we have been having loads of fun with those! We popped out to Bluewater at the weekend to pick up some more stuff from the list that we still wanted.

We have spent every night this week catching up on our favourite TV series 24, we are just getting to the end of season 6 and it is all very exciting. Tonight though it is all about the England game, can we beat croatia or are we going to throw it all away again? Only time will tell.

the xBox

is dead… After sorting our stuff I decided to play some Gears of War and found my form really quickly topping our team with 25 kills, then the game crashed, so I played another and it crashed again. I fired up Halo 3 to check it wasn’t the disc, another crash wtf??

Turned the xBox off, then back on again then this….

I couldn’t believe it, two years of loyalty then it does this to me, I tired all the troubleshooting but knew what had to happen, its currently being repaired, no gaming for a few weeks, will give me time to design a few sites that I promised I would do for people.

That’s a quick update about me for now, I will get back to proper blogging soon I am sure….

We are just back from our Honeymoon in the Big Apple, we both had a great time and are both now shattered! Unsurprisingly we shopped mainly, who wouldn’t considering we were getting $2 to the pound. A did her shopping at all of her favourite places, Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Diesel and Bloomies.

Where as I obviously shopped at one place mainly, the Apple Store in Both 5th Avenue and SoHo. What did I pick up? The New iPod Touch, some Shure earphones and some iTunes vouchers to buy American content, sneaky I know!!

What else did we get up to? We went to see Hairspray on Broadway, just before the Stage Hands went on Strike. It was a really good show and we had really great seats, thanks to A being great at booking tickets!! We even bought a signed poster by the cast for charity.

We also went to see the NY Knicks play Orlando Magic at Madison Sq Gardens, the match was great even though NY lost but MSG has a lot to live up to, its quite cramped and just needs modernising, but we had a great time anyway.

We spent a day outside of New York at Woodbury Common which is basically a shopping village for outlet stores, A picked up some good bargains and that was a fun day out.

As normal there was loads of great food to be eaten, our Local Diner was great as normal, we visited the Hard Rock Cafe, Serendipity 3, and some other great places too.

We also had a great day out at Central Park, venturing in a lot further than we did last time, visitng the castle and Strawberry Fields, we then headed over to the National History Museum, which was brilliant, especaily the cosmic collision show.

I even let Amanda take me on the Sex and the City tour which was great fun (where is that Sarcasm button!), it was ok, we got to go to some cool locations and found out some intresting facts as well.

Back Home

And now we are back, we were not as tired as we would thought we would be and we have the rest of the week off just to chill out, all of our presents from the gift list arrived yesterday which was fun, but we are still unpacking all the boxes!! Thanks to everyone for all the presents we really appreciate it and we will get round to thank you all properly soon!!

We did it, off to NY tomorrow, see you in a week!!!

I am getting married! I set up this post ages ago so that at 3pm on 3.11.07 as I was marrying A this would pop up on the site. We both can’t believe how quickly this day has come around.

We want to thank everyone that has come to share our special day plus a big thank you to all the poepl who have helped us along the way and for all the wonderful gifts that people have bought us.

I am sure A will be looking so beautiful and I will be one lucky man to be marrying her…..
