Games, games, games…

I love this time of year, it’s not long ’til Christmas (there are already adverts!) and now all of the big games start to come out.

These are the ones I’d like to get my hands on….

Gears of War 2

This game is going to be just fantastic, the story is going to get even deeper, the visuals will be amazing and then there is multi-player and co-op! I really enjoyed the last one and with a month until it’s released, I’ve become the child on Christmas Eve that cannot sleep…

FIFA 09

I will probably already have this game by the time this post is out but it still worth talking about. 08 really impressed me after years of rubbish versions.

I’ve played the 09 demo and it looks even better, I gave the PES 2009 demo a try and honestly could not believe how bad that game has become, it appears this year FIFA has no competition, which is a shame…

Fable 2

This game has almost been as hyped about as Gears 2, the original was great and the sequel promises to be be even greater.

I like games where you can make moral decisions as it means there are different ways of playing, much like deciding whether to harvest the little sisters in Bioshock.

This is the game I will probably get last out of the above but I’m just as excited about it!

The other games I like the idea of are:

  • Viva Pinata – TiP
  • Fallout 3
  • Scene it! Box Office Smash
  • Prince of Persia
  • Guitar Hero World Tour
  • I'm looking forward to the new Scene it, though the last one was really hard, I'm rubbish with older movies!!
If you get Fable, maybe we could play some co-op?
  • Phil
Fable 2 is becoming more and more of an interest for me - played the first and liked it.

GOW2 - never played the first one online - I know, a sin! Will have to pick it up again before GOW2 comes out.

Finally, the new Scene It - loved the first, but the rest of my family are not as big movie buffs, so will be looking forward to the online capability of this one.
