In the next day or so I am going to hit my next milestone, 30,000 Gamerpoints! 10,000 points a year, since December 2005 when the xBox 360 was released. So I thought I would have a look back over the years…
3 Years earlier….
My first cheevo was in Project Gotham Racing 3, though I’m not sure which one it was, as xBox.com isn’t being very helpful… Since then I have played 75 games worth 62,125 points which gives me a 48.3% completion rate, that’s pretty bad. In my defence though I have a lot of games to catch up on and actually play, for example:
- Tiger Woods 09 125 / 1000
- Fallout 3 250 / 1100
- Prince of Persia 90 / 1000
- Left 4 Dead 360 / 1000
- Dead Space 0 / 1000
- Skate 60 / 1000
- UCL 2006-07 360 / 1000
- Gears of War 2 265 / 1175
- Tomb Raider Underworld 125 / 1000
There is just under 10,ooo points there to be made, which would really improve my percentage (not that I am going to max out all those!)
Favourite Achivevment
Bioshock was one of my favourite games, in fact it still ranks pretty high and is something I will go back to eventually, this was a very easy achievement, but I just thought it was clever and could have been easily missed.
Hardest Achivevment
Three words: Mile High Club – God that was so difficult to get, but when I did get it I was one happy man!
One you want, but haven’t got yet…
I find this game hard on normal! One day I will get it and it will be a Mile High Club moment I’m sure.

What’s in store for 40k?
I’ve plenty of games to get me over that mark, but how long will it take me to get there? What other fantastic gaming experiences will I come across? Who knows, that’s the beauty of it….
You should jump into our expert games on L4D. So much fun! Anyway, interesting post. I got to 20,000 after just over a year of creating my CandyStoreRock account. I do like chasing Achievements, but now I actually play games without checking to see what I can unlock. Then I go back and clean up the G's. Good stuff on hitting 30,000. It's a big number!

I like to know what achievements there are before I play, it just tends to build up the excitement before I get into it. I reckon I could get 20k this year but, I'll just have to see.
