I have 8 days left at work before something big happens, I become a SAHD. It;s only for 4 months until Max’s first birthday and then hopefully our workplace creche will be able to accomodate us.

I’m really looking forward to my time off with Max, I feel bad that Mrs Moran has to go back to work, especially as the weather is so nice, but there really isn’t much choice so this is the way it’s going to be.

Max is doing really well, he is now on solids and drinking from a cup and a bottle, so at lteast I will be able to take him out and give him food and drink when he needs it. Poor thing is teething at the moment so he isn’t quite sleeping throught the night every night, though since we have moved into our new flat he has managed it three times which is really good.

It’s going to weird not having to travel into London every morning, but great to see Max develp even more, plus we have playgroup and other little things to go to as well. I hope to meet a few more SAHD’s along the way as well.

Hopefully I will get time to blog along the way about what we are doing, I’ll try to update our family website a bit more as well….
