Having not written any reviews for a while I thought I should thrash out a couple mini ones..
2010 has seen me crack on with Dirt 2 and Assasins Creed II, these are my thoughts after a few weeks with each.
DIRT 2
Having not played any of the Colin McCrae titles since 2003, I thought now was as good a time as any to dive in, and Im glad I did.
Despite the fact its no longer the traditional rally game doesnt take anything away from this title, in fact it probably improves it. There are some great race types and in the harder difficulties the competition is fierce.
Codemasters put in a nice touch in Memory of Colon McCrae, its worth checking out when you unlock it during the game.
Im totally hooked on this game, everything from the UI to music is well polished and Im glad I picked it up.
Assasins Creed 2
At last! Assasins Creed how it should have been done the first time. The story is mental but the game is much more enjoyable this time around.
You still play as Desmond, but this time you are following the life of Ezio, whose life is turned upside down when his father and brother are killed.
The missions are more varied and the graphics are much improved. Ezio has some cool new moves this time and the are some brand new weapons to take on too.
I’ve nearly picked up the full 1000gs as the achievements are a lot easier this time around.

I've had this game waiting for since the start of the year but Assasins Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 needed to be played first.
