There are very few reasons to be up at 2:46 in the morning, but this is definitley one. I cou;dn’t keep my eyes open at midnight and knew my youngest would wake me at some point and once I’d settled him it was off to the London Marathon website to get signed up.
I’m not expecting to get in, and I’ll be mostly concetrating on the Brighton Marathon next year, but like they say you have to be in it to win it. All my plans could go to pot over the next couple of months if my legs don’t hold together but only time will tell.
I’ve noted the events I’d like to from now until this time next year below, I haven’t gone mad and have chosen events that will help me as I train:
In the time I’ve been putting this together the ballot for the London Marathon has closed, in just 9 hours and 50 minutes! Hopefully there will be lots of running to be done over the next year and I can’t wait to write about it all.
Did you enter the ballot? What events do you have lined up?
